5 tips for arranging your wedding transportation

Transportation might be a no-brainer… or a huge headache, depending on how far you are from the venue, how far your guests are, and all sorts of factors. Either way, a slip up in the transportation plans can be the main contributor to last-minute setbacks. And that’s the last thing you need on your big day! Here are 5 tips to help you get your transportation covered from all sides. Location, location, location! Give your guests location details as early as you send out your invites. Make sure to include the location for anyone out-of-town, this gives them plenty of time to book hotels in the area. Book in advance For any rental, it is always best to book in advance. Consider the timing and date of the event. You may need to get your reservation in early to have your guests covered. Pre and post wedding transportation Consider who will drive you, who will join you, how you will be returning home, etc. It's important to figure this out in advance so you can work out the logistics closer to the date. Carpooling If any guests are living or staying nearby, carpooling can be an option. This can save money and be very convenient for your guests depending on their situation. Keep an eye on traffic Start checking in on traffic 5 days before the event. Construction and community events can cause your guests to be late and seriously delay your plans. Stay on top of this and update your guests so they can plan.
