The gem that is the High Line deserves your undivided attention. The history behind the High Line is also very majestic. It was first used to run trains above ground instead of on city avenues. It delivered goods through Manhattan’s industrial district. Now, the area has been revitalized and looks completely different. It’s over 10 city blocks big and its basically a park above ground. The view you also get is like no other because it offers something different. It’s a great walk and the fact that the railroads were preserved makes this even cooler to visit.
Coney Island isn’t exactly close to Manhattan but the trip makes it worth your while. Coney Island has a little bit of everything for everyone. There is an all new amusement park that will blow your mind away. The beach at Coney Island offers you a different view of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s breathtaking especially for those that aren’t near an ocean. The New York Aquarium is also at Coney Island. By the looks of this, you’re going to need to set a day for Coney Island.
Manhattan, from top to bottom, is a modern marvel. The island literally stands alone, and seeing how it changes as make your way around will leave you in awe. Aqua Azul offers yacht charters to check out the hidden mysteries the island has to offer. What will you spot once your voyage has begun?
Don’t feel intimidated by the outer boroughs. Flushing Meadows Park is full of rich history that is definitely worth exploring. For instance, if you recall the closing scene of Men In Black, the Unisphere and the New York State Pavilion are a must see. There are a couple of museums, The Hall of Science, that offers visitors interactive activities that involve the marvels of science. The second museum is the Queens Museum that has a beautiful panorama of the city.
